Residences at One Highland Celebrates Grand Opening

Mixed-use development is new hub for downtown Fort Thomas

Greiwe Development, one of the region’s leading developers of lifestyle communities, today celebrates the grand opening of the Residences at One Highland, a three-level, 18-unit luxury condominium development that includes shops and other businesses serving its residents and community at street level.

During a grand opening event, Fort Thomas Mayor Eric Haas, former Fort Thomas city administrator Ron Dill, North American Properties President Dick Williams, Sibcy Cline Realtors Chair of the Board Rob Sibcy, and Greiwe Development Principal Rick Greiwe will share One Highland’s impact on the City of Fort Thomas.

“With One Highland’s opening, we are already seeing the impact on the city’s downtown environment,” said Greiwe Development Principal Rick Greiwe. “We believe One Highland supports the city’s efforts to rebrand the central business district as the Cultural Arts District.” A $3 million campaign to redevelop the historic Telephone Exchange Building into a cultural arts center was recently announced.

Bringing a mix of gathering spaces, businesses and new condos to the community is a huge benefit to the city, according to Mayor Eric Haas. “The building turned out even nicer than we imagined, Haas said. “Rick’s team is so good at creating developments that complement the surrounding community. We’re excited to join the celebration as One Highland opens.”

The grand opening marks the formal completion of the project, which includes 18 luxury residences as well as five sold-out commercial condo units. The businesses include: Fort Thomas Coffee, Kramer Family Dentistry, Bisbe Financial Raymond James, and The Lavender Trail Boutique.

“Curated as a landmark development where people can live, work and gather, One Highland creates a redefined Fort Thomas’ downtown. It’s enhanced by the city’s hometown ambiance — complete with tree-lined streets, parks, and walkability,” Greiwe said. “We’ve worked tirelessly to deliver on our promise to the residents of Fort Thomas.”

Greiwe Development, along with partners Sibcy Cline and North American Properties, have developed a blueprint of success with their lifestyle condominium developments adjacent to existing neighborhood centers. Together, they built 150 condominium residences with a total value of more than $130 million over a span of 14 years. This is the first multi-use development endeavor for Greiwe Development, which serves as a hub for the community with the combination of luxury one-level condo residences and commercial spaces.

Project Team

The development team includes Greiwe Development, North American Properties, Sibcy Cline, Joshua One and M+A Architects, Greiwe Interiors, Marin Koepke Landscape Design, and Architectural Landscape Lighting and Design.
