New Fort Thomas Boutique Focuses on Clothing, Accessories, and Gifts

Celebrating its grand opening on Sunday, December 4, 2022, The Lavender Trail is officially open at One Highland in Fort Thomas, KY.  Owner Shannon Motzer marked the occasion with staff, family, friends, and the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Lavender Trail is a boutique featuring on-trend, all-inclusive clothing, accessories, and gifts. First opening her store more than 12 years ago as a mobile boutique, Motzer eventually moved into Newport on the Levee with her shop, Bluegrass & Sass. For the last year, Bluegrass & Sass occupied a space at The Historic Hiland Building in Fort Thomas.  

“Dan Gornan, the owner of The Hiland Building and my previous space, has made this shop possible,” said Motzer. “We collaborated on this space at One Highland to create a boutique and gift shop that the Cultural Arts district needed.”

She continued, “I am looking forward to the growth of the One Highland businesses, the Cultural Arts District, and meeting my neighbors in Fort Thomas.”

The Lavender Trail is open Wednesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and on Sunday from noon-4 p.m. It’s located at 1 Highland Avenue in Suite B. Visit the boutique online at shopthelavendertrail.com.
